[Growing] This moment in St. Paul

If there's a modern version of the Welcome Wagon, its my friend Erin. There could not have been a better person to befriend when we moved to St. Paul five years ago. And, she is also responsible for teaching me to knit!!

So great to see her boys growing and turning into such handsome, polite little men.

And I think it's also safe to mention that my dear sweet friend is also growing her family - with baby #3. I am beyond thrilled for all of them. Doesn't she look amazing?

[Friends] Old + New

One of my long lost friends found me on Faceback last year and we reconnected. We were high school classmates, then college roomates (oh, the stories we could tell). She married her high school sweetheart and now I have three new friends in my life. Love to you all!

I met up with this fun family for some fall photos recently at Minnehaha Falls (say that 5 times as fast as you can!). The little guy was all smiles for me and we had a great time exploring the park. Thanks again!

[Destined] Lindsay + Kevin

On a most perfect of October Saturdays, I had the honor of joining Lindsay and Kevin for their marriage vows. What is truly unique about the couple is that they have known each other since elementary school. While we were taking Kevin's family photos prior to the ceremony, I asked him if he was nervous because I'd never met such a calm groom. He replied, that no, he knew this moment was going to happen for a long time and there was nothing to be anxious about. Isn't that was true companionship is all about?

[Unity] Bob + Holly's wedding in Jordan, MN

On a perfect October afternoon (OK, maybe 85 degrees was a wee bit unexpected) I had the pleasure of driving out to Jordan, Minnesota for Bob and Holly's wedding. I'd never been there before, but I'm sure to go back with the family - what a cute little town! Thanks for asking me to be part of you day - enjoy life together!



The wedding was in Bob and Holly's gorgeous backyard and the whole house was bursting with excitement as they got ready.

Their son picked his footwear all by himself. Perfect choice, isn't it?

Their reception was so much fun. The band was awesome and everyone was on the dance floor.

[Genuine] Family times in St. Paul

I met up with this beautiful family on one of the most perfect fall days. The kids were super awesome and it was easy to tell how much they love and enjoy each other after just a few minutes with them. Enjoy!

[Brava!] Sisters in the park

I got to meet up with these cute girls last weekend - perfect sunny weather for our time together. Since St. Paul tends to be a big small town, it turns out the older sister goes to the same school as my oldest daughter. She actually saw us walking out dog Lucy after school, except that she thought Lucy was a cat. This made me laugh because our new dog is pretty funny looking.


Both girls are taking violin lessons - very impressive!
